Art of four Generations

The name Aschenborn stands for art with its whole diversity.
Be it watercolours, oils, chalks, pastels, acrylics, etchings, lino press-cuttings or woodprints, contemporary as well as modern innovative techniques - the artists of the family use these techniques for a rich repertoire of styles.

With the roots in Africa, Namibia many art works are inspired by African wildlife. Lions, elephants ... vivacious African but also European animals in all their rich variety are complemented by atmospheric landscapes but also by abstract art.

As a professor for civil engineering Hans Ulrich (Uli) Aschenborn creates changing art work, e.g. his morph-sculptures, morph-cubes, chameleon paintings or his noteworthy installations with lights (morph stands for metamorphosis) using his newly invented innovative techniques. This cinetic art was branded as "Uli Aschenborn's Amazing Changing Art" by the Namibian media.

I wish you a pleasant trip through this internet site.
